The idea of the Community in the East End is a central part of the identity of people in the East End of London.This idea is currently coming under attack. 

The UK Central Govt policy of imposing cuts on essential public services has created

additional pressures on peoples lives. These pressures are exacerbated by the ever tougher stance being taken by State agencies that are supposed to offer help... 

This is where EASTONE Community Support and Advice Centre comes in.

At times of crisis the best way to beat the attacks on the quality of life is by supporting the community, showing respect to people who need access to help and valuing the power for good that solidarity can bring.

EAST ONE Community Support and Advice Centre is a new initiative that is based in the East End of London offering support to people in the East One area in London.

Initial help offered by East One include the following areas: 

Personal issues including social isolation, loneliness, lack of income and low income
Family issues including relationships, housing, overcrowding and related matters... 

plus any number of other issues, interests and matters...
