There is scare respect for animals in Britain if the ‘mainstream media’ treatment is any guide. [5]

On 11 December 2012, the Daily Mail's congenitally Rightwing PR writer Andrew Pierce showed an almost different side to him when he declared that he was 'mad about cats'.

The topic was Milo, the innocent cat in Hackney, East London, who had been mis-reported all over the 'Media' as the 'burglar' of neighbours' keys.

That was a typically ignorant media hype.

The cat had been fitted by its human keeper with a magnetic collar as part of a way to let the cat flap open while [allegedly] keeping 'other cats' out.

The magnet did what magnets do: it collected all other items in the vicinity that  Milo the cat was near.

Yet this was not at all the ficus in the ignorant head lies.

The focus was the wrong claim that Milo was the one who was pic,ing up the neighbours' keys.

An absolute lie.

But what do unthinking Media folk do when they are devoid of the true feeling and resect for other beings?

They callously paint an innocent cat as a burglar. As if such depiction is harmless.

It isn't.

I will have something more, quite a lot in fact,  to say about this in future pieces.

Here, for reference, is a typical Murdoch SUN report on their website about Milo.
