OFCOM’s ethnicity-linked licensed to outfits are failing to serve the communities in whose names they seek and procure those licences UK

AADHIKARonline © Muhammad Haque diagnosing UK broadcasting regulator OFCOM in the context of OFCOM’s ethnicity-linked licenses to outfits that are failing to serve the communities in whose names they seek and procure those licences UK.

In a TV clip we have been examining is a vision of a politician in Bangladesh making a statement about alleged breakdown in law and order in Bangladesh today. However, the same Channel, SKY 814 does NOT broadcast contextually speaking, anything like that same sort of ‘comment’ by Bangladeshis in the UK about the Society in the UK. So OFCOM has been failing in its basic regulatory duty to ensure that operators controlling licensed outlets comply with their own undertakings given to OFCOM and to the public in THE UK that they would address the issues here in the UK. OFCOM has been behaving like a very negligent outfit which only ever gets involved in the business of regulating when people make a fuss. Otherwise OFCOM lets the foul behaviour to go on unchallenged. This is not good for society in Britain at all. In the context of THIS particular channel and its output, the failures by OFCOM has been letting the community in Tower Hamlets down very badly. The depth of ignorance, misinformation and diversion away from the issues affecting the Bangladeshis in the UK that are daily perpetrated on the OFCOM-licensed outlets and carried on SKY channels linked to the UK Bangladeshi community is very serious. So far, there has been no comment let alone investigation into the conduct and the agenda of these Channels. [To be continued]

Muhammad Haque diagnosing the London MP Stephen Pound and his role as a massager of the Murdoch message and agenda via the media -1

AADHIKARonline © Muhammad Haque review of the Media agenda in the UK.

1645 [1635] Hrs GMT London Saturday 12 March 2011.

I am using a video clip[ which will be linked to here in later editions] taken from a broadcast item on SKY.com where a Blair Party 'MP'. Stephen Pound is appearing with another person apparently reviewing the font pages of the relevant next day's London printed Press or Fleet Street. This is a routine that Pound is very familiar with. Just as he is familiar with the counterpart displays which are conducted on radio mostly on the BBC outlets allowing Pound to give expressions to his latest packaged promotions. Pound is adept at dodging the issues and he is very successful in retaining a relevance for himself on these slots. The impact of his appearances is not significant in any way except that he maintains the illusion that he is with the ruling junta while also hinting at the possibility that he might be open to profitable offers from any contenders against the junta. Pound is a sample of a group in the UK professional political trade which contains journos and sub-journos who also double as MPs. Pound is a sub-journo. His limited repertoire of anectodal analysues is extremely irritating and he is not enlightening about society whatsoever. He is on the other hand very revealing about the contrivances that he mentally engages in so that he stays topical and is invited back on the SKY.com and the BBC sofas. [To be continued]

The Lib Dumbs erect a wall of Steel in Steel City Sheffield as they brace to put up with Nick CLEGG getting sick all over the issues as he confuses opportunism with principle and outrage with being in power and all that.

The Sheffield wall of steel, exposed in this picture carried on the UK Indymedia “politics” “campaign” [questions remain about the site’s claim to being ‘politically neutral and independent”] web site, has yielded a glimpse of Paddy Streeter, doing what he does best. Streeter fakes.
This picture has been described by the poster on UK Indymedia as Streeter waffling some really incredibly offensive and patronising sing “promise” about being ‘rebellious’.
He is NEVER rebellious. His entire life and career have been about NOT rebellion but collusion. His role during May 1986 to May 1994 when the formerly styled SDP were in control at the Tower Hamlets Council included seriously questionable de facto deals with the City of London.
Now he is exhibiting another contemptuous outrage to local people in the Brick Lane London E1 area and the rest of the inner city deprived London Borough of Tower Hamlets by faking about being the Lib Dumbs’ ‘mayoral’ candidate in the name of London people in 2012.
Unless something unprecedented happens, there is no realistic likelihood that the Lib Dumbs can hope to succeed any incumbent in the Onion. Yet for the sake of evidence, we can allow Streeter and the Lib Dumbs the fantasy and say that it is conceivable that their ‘candidate’ can get in to the Onion. The real questions then begin: Firstly, “and then what?” CONDEM like, they will do what CONDEM has been doing from the ‘centre’ of ‘UK Governance’. The last candidate they had was Brian Paddick. Paddick was probably the ‘best’ Lib Dumbs candidate in the name of London. So how did he do? Not very well at all. And that is saying something very rare. The only other ’candidate’ material before Paddick of whom we have direct knowledge which we exclusively share below, was Slimy Hughes himself. In 1999, our Movement got hold of a transcript of a statement that Hughes had made about the Bangladeshis in Tower Hamlets living on Council estates. [To be continued]

Can Clegg learn from Alex Salmond, the Scottish regional boss who is leading on tuition fees?

The Muhammad Haque London Commentary

Alex Salmond in Edinburgh shows Nick Clegg one way to avoid sickness! But can Sick Clegg get the message?

Clegg is sick because he keeps talking about ‘being in power’. He misses the message coming loud and clear from Lib Dems themselves. He says they should get sued to protests. that is what happens when you get into power, he says. He fails to see that being in power for its own sake is not really being in power. If the foundation collapses then there is nothing that any power can do to keep him in the state of fantasy that he is in. Clegg’s sojourn to Davos in Switzerland when he was supposed to be in charge of things during CON Cameron’s arms-selling trip to the Middle East was made even more callous and stupid when he justified that by dissuasively saying that he had forgotten that he was supposed to be in charge! It is this contempt to duty that is sinking Clegg. This is why he is truly sick and unfit for purpose. [To be continued]

East End of London: A Brick Lane letter for Japan [1] Saturday 12 March 2011

A Letter for Japan

Brick Lane London UK

“We are with you in this your hour of
distress. We are with you in this your
moment of sorrow. We are with you in this shock, disbelief and
amazement! We are with you in spirit
and we are with you in sharing
with the rest of humanity
your deep sadness. How could this
happen to us! How could this
to us! The strings of our hearts extend
thousands of miles and touch yours
with that message that is utterly human:
we are with you.
We give you all our support .
And we promise you we shall stand by you
for as long as your needs require.
We shall do so all day today, tomorrow,
the day after that
and the day after that and beyond ...”
