This © Muhammad Haque picture [on the panel to the right of this column] [Tuesday 08 March 2011] shows [nearest to camera, left] Terry McGrenera one-time Green Party candidate and occasional sitter at what used to be the “press desk” in the faked-up “Council Chamber”, unable to stand still after finding his attempts to get into the “Council Chamber” blocked by a barrage of barriers and uniformed personnel. In the centre of the picture, in green, is Ismail Saray, a very regular attendee at publicly known events held to support the promotion of the brand new “local” “political" [CORRECTION: career-linked, career-motivated, career-based] personality” called “Lutfur Rahman” during the months of July-October 2010 in Tower Hamlets. Mr Saray was snapping away as he also chatted in solo mode with the nearest uniformed personnel during the minutes...

To Mr Saray’s left [in the picture] were two members of the public, who passed time by accurately noticing and sharing their finding that there was a severe enforcement of security check introduced by the bureaucracy controlling access to the “Town Hall”. Things were distinctly looking grim, physically, metaphorically and in uniform outside the Mulberry Place on Tuesday night! The atmosphere was antidemocratic and chilling. It was almost a carbon copy of what had taken place in the fortnight before in Lewisham. Lewisham is linked to Tower Hamlets in only the foulest and the most antidemocratic of ways. Lewisham had been on the list churned out and chanted by the peddlers of the “progress” called a directly elected executive mayor. Those who had done the chanting on Saturday 06 February 2010 [13 months ago last weekend] for a “directly elected mayor in Tower Hamlets” had claimed that ‘nearby’ Lewisham [it is NOT ‘nearby’] had been one of the London boroughs with an elected mayor. Those peddlers were not to be seen outside the Mulberry Place Stockade [in London E14 2BG] last night. Were they to be seen, there casued not be a more stunning exposure of the lie that they had peddled. Tower Hamlets is now a ‘democracy free’ zone and it is definitely going to gte even worse as the controlling clique carries out more assaults on the community on behalf of the CONDEM agenda .
