BRICK LANE London E1 area local resident and community campaign supporter Askir Miah's comments on CURRY restaurants and touting - [1]

ASKIR Miah, local resident in the Brick Lane London E1 area, speaking in the Seelotee language, said to AADHIKARonline

“ [I don’t think] that these touting [near the Curry restaurants in Brick Lane, London E1] will stop. The [Tower Hamlets] Council’s [token measures as seen in their] imposing fines on some of them, will not work. I have lived in the area from the age of 17 and now I am elderly.
We can’t walk through Brick Lane [without facing the annoying activities]. Can’t go to the Mosque [which is ion Brick lane, very near most of the Curry restaurants in Brick Lane], [because the touts] surround [passersby and] shout their touting. And then the [mainly white customers] face the touting EVEN AFTER they have had a meal in one or the other of the [BRick Lane Curry] restaurants. ”
