Tower Hamlets COUNCIL is failing the Community, 

meeting in Bethnal Green hears

"East End of London" is still at the top of the poverty indices about Society in the UK. 

And the locally "elected" Tower Hamlets Council is failing the local community. 

According to the speakers at the TUSC meeting held at the Oxford House in Benthnal Green last night. 

As had happened at an earlier meeting organized by the same group at the same venue, last night’s meeting heard calls for people who were dissatisfied with the behavior of their present councilors to come forward and stand as candidates for election to the Council.
