Topic in brief:

POVERTY CREATION in inner city East London by the CONDEM Collusion: Updater survey Saturday 23 April 2011.

This is an updater event online which is being organised to assess the current state of knowledge in the community about the effects the HousinG benefit, Council tax benefit "reviews" will have and are having on people in the area.

The primary focus, for the time being and in the context of this week is Tower Hamlets but the main enquiries taking place over a longer time scale include Newham, Hackney, Barking, Redbridge and other East London areas. We are also looking at evidentially comparable and socially and demographically related areas like Ealing, Brent, Westminster, Islington, Camden, Waltham Forest, Southwark, Lambeth, Greenwich and Lewisham [and other boroughs] in London and in the regions in the Midlands and in other parts of England. We shall be publishing the necessary ACTION information here and on our related twitter sites and blogs.

This is aimed at creating the action to defend the communities against the poverty-creation programme and attacks by CONDEM and by the state agencies that are supposed to be ‘helping’ the people.
