HOW MANY of the people in the slums have been able to even breathe at a healthy rate during the hours of the Cricket match between India & Pakistan?

This has been a very historic moment in the recorded history of British ‘mainstream’ media-made myths about the states of relations between the stated independent States of India and Pakistan. Indeed! The “stated independent states” is a phrase that I have just coined to refer to the fact of the fraudulence about the Sub Continent that the ‘mainstream’ British media - or the ‘mainstream’ media agenda-setters in Britain -have contrived and perpetrated over the past decades.

Sixty four years in fact.

The ugliness of the lies are all there in the volumes of printed words and the millions of hours of the sound archives made up of the untruths that they have told about the Subcontinent that is very generally identifiable by the three States of Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. The peg today has been the so-called cricket diplomacy activities during the current ‘world Cup’.

And the outpourings of solemnly-delivered references to the four major wars between the two States of India and Pakistan almost completed the routine image.

Then of course there is the facto of the two States being armed with nuclear weapons. As ‘news script-presented’ by Jon Snow over at Channel 4 News this [Wednesday] evening.

So why am I not joining in the ‘celebrations’?

I would happily consider joining the ‘celebrations if I knew the answer of the ‘mainstream media’ to this simple question: HOW MANY of the people in the slums have been able to even breathe at a healthy rate during the hours of the overly-hyped Cricket match between India and Pakistan today? [To be continued]
