But it has dampened the hopes of those people in London who legitimately expected that THEIR contributions by way of giving up in so many ays for helping with and participating in the facilitating of the Games would be recognised by their getting some tickets at a reasonable expense.
Speaking to ITV's London Today, broadcast in the past five minutes, Boris Johnson has justified his failure to Londoners. Instead, the overstated linguist resorted to a classic cover up and dodging device as a ploy to avoid facing the facts. Just like Sebastian Coe told the same ITV London NEWS Channel yesterday [Monday] of HIS failures to show that he was leading a fair and competent management of the Hosting of the Games.
Which adds up to show once again that the people of London generally and the people across East London in particular are not getting much of an access to the OTT-hyped Hosting.
Takes us straight back to almost three years ago when, at the end of April 2008 the then ‘mayor’ in the name of the people of London was boasting on the BBC Panorama Programme MAYORAL SPECIAL that he, Ken Livingstone, had LIED about the London Bid [in the period in the lead up to July 2005 when at Singapore the Bid was ‘successful’] in his overselling of Stratford in East London as THE MOST IMPORTANT site and argument for the bid......
We said then and we have shown ever since that Ken Livingstone's lying has only been matched by other lies by Boris Johnson and Seb Coe. All their lies have shown that they have no true respect for the feelings of the people, ordinary people of East End of London,. Goes to show that these careerists and time-servers do not respect
