BRICK LANE was at the top of the agenda "for local" "campaigners" addressing Tower Hamlets Council this evening.

As a taster, the first address was by two men, one Matt Smith, a Conservative, who wanted to know what was happening to the much-vaunted Tower Hamlets Council.. measures CURRENTLY IN PLACE to tackle persistent TOUTING in Brick Lane. Mr Smith was aided by his equally articulate colleague. They spoke with clarity about the touting menace and wanted to know why Tower Hamlet s “existing measures to deal with touting” were not being effectively applied.
