Into 34th year with AADHIKAR the Rights Media Defending the Community..

Into 34th year with AADHIKAR the Rights Media Defending the Community...

On taking the AADHIKAR Media into the 34th year since its foundation in New Road London E1 1HE UK on Monday 19 December 1980, thirty three full years ago....

PAYING for the multiplicity of tasks entailed in the Defence of the Community: the term “paying” includes literally paying from my own pocket to confront and to challenge the (word deleted) that are continuing to let down, misrepresent, violate and exploit and abuse the overall Community and its rights..... Just why it is that I have to be doing the paying while so many are getting PAID £Millions in the name of “serving” the same community that I maintain they are DISSERVING, will be revealed in the course of this UPDATER Commentary.
As will be the facts about my “sources” of the money that I have been forced to spend in defending the most vital rights and interests of the whole community mainly in the East London borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH)

I start by focussing on the CURRENT dysfunctional state of the local Tower Hamlets Council, about which the AADHIKAR Media has been specially unique and about which our findings as published and chronicled by the AADHIKAR Reports in the last 33 years have been without exception vindicated

This UPDATER Commentary REFLECTING
on the battle against publicly funded corruption
and antisocial practices, decisions and linked entrenchment via the unaccountable, unethical, unelected Bureaucracy operated via democratically dyfunctioning local Tower Hamlets Council (LBTH)  including the collusion of the superficially “elected” “regional’ London Assembly (whose distorted, obverse ‘face’ is imaged via “Boris Johnson”) as well as by the corrupting collusion of those claiming links with the so-called elected Parliamentary Constituency at the “Palace of  Westminster”

AADHIKAROnline KHOODEELAAR! Action Report
London Monday 16 December 2013.

Muhammad Haque (pictured)  campaigning
against imposing an elected mayor system on
Tower Hamlets, pictured speaking
in Hanbury Street on Saturday
06 February 2010. The loudhailer
Muhammad Haque used in that
action had been borrowed from
a local person based in Shadwell.
To get that loudhailer, at short notice,
Muhammad Haque paid for a mini cab
and then also for the batteries that
were needed to get the loudhailer to work.
The demonstration that I (Muhammad Haque)
addressed on that occasion was (it was later found out)
filmed by Channel 4 TV (amongst others).
But the key points  that I (Muhammad Haque) made
on that day or later, were not reported by
Channel 4 who also failed to show me (Muhammad Haque)
speaking.
Now, I do NOT need C4 or any other 'Mainstream' or "surrogate' Media se to ‘show me in their footage’. I point this out because years later, the same Channel 4 TV station, did a so-called ‘Dispatches’ investigation (June 2013 in fact] about how the incumbent (name left out of here)  as the ‘elected executive mayor’ was, as they claimed, abusing his "executive mayor" "powers and position" and  how he was wasting the public money. They broadcast a string of allegations.
They (C4 Dispatches” June 103) reinforced one particular accusation that had been made by the Labour Party’s now confirmed candidate to seek election as “the executive mayor” to the effect that the incumbent (“executive mayor” of Tower Hamlets)   was indulging in a series of vanity programmes and activities.
As have some other quarters ever since - those quarters too have made the same allegation.
Now, my point on 6 February 2010 was that a rigorously accountable democratic local Council is the first stage for local I people’s having the basic democratic say on things that affect their lives., that matter to them and their communities.
So if you undermine that democracy platform you do a great disservice to the whole community.
Yet I was the only speaker at that whole event who addressed
all the key aspects of the then attempt (first stage via the “Referendum" which was given unwarranted 'attention' by the recruitment of Ken Livingstone, George Galloway and Keith Vaz, amongst others, by the real forces of antidemocratic interests who drove the “YES” project at that stage and launched it formally on that ate - hence our demonstration against that launch ) at dismantling democracy at the Tower Hamlets Council and I was the one who set out the key evidential, historic, social contexts and parameters and priorities for the future for a cohesive Society and Community in the East End of London.
Not only has C4 been exposed as being untenably stupid to leave out what I was saying then. It has also been exposed as being untenably uncaring and ignorant about the subject.
Why was it stupid?
Because, as the record will show: I was the one who made the most relevant points about why there should not be an “executive mayor” system in place in LBTH Council.
I also remain the only opponent to the mayor system in Tower Hamlets.
All the others who “listened to me” and were also shouting slogans “against” an elected mayor system, have turned!
They are all now “believers” in the Mayor system.
Some of them have even tried to be candidates for being elected to that post!
Those who were “OPPOSED” to the Mayor system, have ALL CONVERTED to being supporters of the system.
Not only that, even as I was speaking on 6 February 2010 on the assumption that I was addressing “like minded” opponents of the mayor system, some of those present and even posing for Channel 4 TBV crew, were in  contact (by their cell phones and by personally knocking o  their doors) cat with their potential, supporters (as voters) for when they (these WANNABEs) would need their votes when returning to the voters as  Mayor candidates!
It remains the case that the entire ‘change’ to the
Tower Hamlets Council (LBTH)  from the old system of
the Council making key decisions in a Cabinet made up
of elected local Councillors, to one where an “executive mayor” , a sole individual,
has all the powers in or about the Council’s “decision-making”, has made things
very much less democratic and has turned an already very poorly
accountable local Council into a very seriously lethally dysfunctional, antidemocratic one.
The impact of the badness of the LBTH Council are demonstrably many times worse.
Every day.
