Challenging Ken Livingstone to deliver on the claims that he had made 2 years ago about Tower Hamlets Council.

Just over two years ago on 06 February 2010, Ken Livingstone was greeted with a very hostile reception in the Hanbury Street. Those who gave him that hostile reception were shouting NO to an elected mayor system in Tower Hamlets. Livingstone went through the protesters and took up his position as a champion of the “Yes” for mayor project that was being launched inside the Brady Centre in the Hanbury Street. In his statements backing the “YES” project Ken Livingstone claimed that the Tower Hamlets Council was ridded with corruption and back room deal making . He said that all f that would be got rd of if there was an elected executive mayor in the Borough. Why is Ken Livingstone silent now that there is mounting evidence that Tower Hamlets Council is as ridded with corruption and back room deal making now as it was two years ago?

The weekend version of the CPGB’s “Morning Star” “newspaper” carries another routine piece with Ken Livingstone's by-line. The front page trailer says that Ken Livingstone is accusing the Tories of being out of touch. This is too bad for Ken Livingstone. How could he hope to have THAT as a “damning indictment” of the Tories? This shows that Ken Livingstone is himself out of touch. Had he been any different than he accuses the Tories of being then he would find a far more credible statement than the banality that the Morning Star is peddling on his behalf. How IN TOUCH is Ken Livingstone himself? He sure shows no evidence as far as I can see that he is any more in touch than the Tories are. And here is his problem. Unless Ken Livingstone can come up with credible and sustained evidence that he is IN TOUCH then I cannot see him returning to the Onion after the scheduled polling day in May, just over two months away. On all key topics that would likely affect the voting intentions and behaviour of the majority the people, Ken Livingstone has nt stood out as being at al any different than Boris Johnson. This should worry Livingstone’s “ strategic advisers”. [To be continued]

The images on the front pages of the London print daily the INDEPENDENT and its offshoot i today feature some updates on the looting of the public by UK Big Biz “energy” conglomerates.
Big Business brazenly looting people while Bank of England fakes some extra £Billions.
But this critical violation of the people across Britain is not being examined or adequately or significantly by the broadcast British media
The proliferation of satellite TV channels carrying apparently longer slots on the day’s PRESS is not producing any qualitative improvement in the contents of the “media”.
I shall be updating my diagnostic review of the shallowness f the SKY PRESS REVIEW and the BBC Press Review slots, here, shortly.
